Who can live in a sober living home?

At Mile High Sober Living, we welcome individuals who are committed to maintaining sobriety and building a strong foundation for recovery.

Residents must be drug- and alcohol-free, and we may ask for proof of recent treatment or detox.

Our homes have clear guidelines to ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone

The length of your stay with us depends on your personal needs and progress. Many residents stay for several months, while some choose to remain for a year or more until they feel ready for independent living.

We encourage you to stay as long as you benefit from our compassionate and structured community.

Our rules are designed to foster safety, respect, and accountability. We require residents to maintain sobriety, attend house meetings, participate in chores, and follow curfews.

We also encourage involvement in 12-step meetings or other recovery support groups to strengthen your recovery journey.

Unlike rehab, which offers intensive medical and clinical treatment, a sober living home provides a supportive, substance-free home for those transitioning back into daily life.

We focus on community, accountability, and healthy routines, rather than therapy or medical care.

Absolutely! We encourage residents to work, attend school, or volunteer as they continue their recovery. Building a productive and meaningful routine is an important part of developing independence and long-term sobriety.

We understand the importance of staying connected with loved ones. Visitors are welcome during designated hours, as long as our house rules are respected and the sober environment is maintained. For everyone’s safety and comfort, overnight guests are generally not permitted.
